Sylvie Paquette-Fritsch (uto-gardon, vocals)

Sylvie has been an active member of Hungarian communities since childhood, and grew up a huge fan of Hungarian music and dance.

She grew up in Montreal and spent several years in Australia as well, always sharing her passion for Hungarian culture.

Aside from her vocal and dance abilities, Sylvie plays the unique “uto-gardon” (percussive cello), a rarely heard instrument whose roots stem from deep in the Carpathian Mountain region of Transylvania.
